At present, the trend of PS (polystyrene) market is weak, and the trading and investment atmosphere is difficult to improve. The shipping rhythm of merchants is slow. The quotation of mainstream brands excluding tax refers to: Zhenjiang Qimei PG33 reported 11,300 RMB/ ton, Taiwan Petrochemical 5250 reported 9,990 RMB/ ton, Ningbo Taihua 535N reported 10,080 RMB/ ton, Shanghai SECCO 123P reported 9,450 RMB/ ton, Thailand Petrochemical 150 reported 10,240-10,250 RMB/ ton, and Guangzhou Petrochemical 525 reported 9,050 RMB/ ton.
The cost support was relatively strong, the crude oil plummeted, and the wait-and-see atmosphere in the theater slowed down the transaction atmosphere. The pressure on merchants to ship remained. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market was 9,400-10,950 RMB/ ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) was 10,200-11,400 RMB/ ton.
PS market turnover is light, lacking support from good news, and it is expected that the short-term China domestic PS (polystyrene) market is weak and deadlocked.
