As of November 11, the average purchase price of grade A waste yellowboard in Zhejiang was 1,980 RMB/ ton, which remained stable compared with the average price of 1,980 RMB/ ton on November 6. The price of corrugated paper decreased. On November 11, the average ex factory price of 140g corrugated base paper was 3,254 RMB/ ton, down 1.09% compared with the average price of 3,290 RMB/ ton on November 6.

From the observation of market changes, last week's domestic wastepaper prices were stable, while those in Zhejiang were stable. Only a few paper mills adjusted their wastepaper prices according to their own needs. Recently, the domestic epidemic has recurred, and transportation has slowed down. In addition, the wastepaper inventory of the paper mill is stable, and the price range of wastepaper raw materials fluctuates mainly. The overall trend is low and volatile, and the cost has limited impact on the base paper market.

In terms of the price of corrugated base paper, the price of corrugated paper fell last week. Recently, due to factors such as oversupply and weak demand, the price of OCC in the United States has plummeted and the price of wastepaper in the United States has dropped precipitously, leading to a sharp drop in the price of imported packaging paper. Some packaging plants have taken the opportunity to absorb a large amount of imported base paper, which has affected the price of domestic packaging paper. With the completion of the overhaul of most paper mills, the new production capacity in South China will soon be put into production, the output of base paper will increase significantly, and the market supply is relatively sufficient. In addition, the current paper mill procurement is mainly to maintain rigid demand, and the price rise of base paper has been lack of effective market demand support, so the price is loose and downward.

According to the paper analysts of SunSirs, the current wastepaper and corrugated paper markets are affected by low price imported paper products, and the cost support is weakened under the negative market factors. The market demand is insufficient and the consumption is lack of strong support. With the completion of the maintenance of the paper mill, the output will increase significantly. It is expected that the price of wastepaper and corrugated paper will continue to fluctuate at a low level in China in the short term.
