Sunsirs: The Rubber Industry Extended its Decline on the Last Day of October
November 01 2022 09:42:02On the last day of October, the rubber industry continued to decline. The downstream tire and rubber and plastic products industry started lower than the previous period, and the market transaction was sluggish.
According to the monitoring of the Sunsirs, as of the 31st, the price of natural rubber was 11,170 RMB/ton, down 2.70% from the previous day; the price of butadiene rubber was 12,060 RMB/ton, down 1.23% from the previous day; the price of styrene-butadiene rubber was 11,133 RMB/ton, down 1.26% from the previous day; the price of Acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber was 15,650 RMB/ton, down 1.11% from the previous day.
The prices of synthetic rubber raw materials butadiene and styrene are low. As of the 31st, the price of domestic butadiene producers is 7,603 RMB/ton; the price of styrene is 8,341 RMB/ton.
It is expected that the rubber industry will continue to be weak in the near future.
