The average price of glass at the beginning of the month was 19.72 RMB/m2, and the average price at the end of the month was 19.73 RMB/m2. The price decreased slightly within the month, by 0.05%.

On the whole, the spot price of glass market in October was basically stable, and the price fluctuated slightly. The overall turnover of glass market in the first half of the month was fair. The market price is more flexible, and the inventory is reduced slightly. Prices of some manufacturers increased slightly. In the second half of the month, traders and downstream customers were generally motivated to replenish goods, and they would wait and see later. Up to now, the market quotation in Shahe area is between 18.9 RMB/m2 and 19.45 RMB/m2. At present, the production and sales of the manufacturer are fairly good, the market shipment is more flexible, and downstream customers can replenish as needed.

According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, in September 2022, the national output of flat glass will be 85.94 million weight boxes, an increase of 1.4% year on year. From January to September 2022, the national output of flat glass will be 774.45 million weight boxes, down 3.2% year on year.
