According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average price of PS ordinary materials at the beginning of this month was 10,300 RMB/ ton, and the average price of PS ordinary materials at the end of this month was 10,166 RMB/ ton, down 1.29%, down 12.36% compared with the same period of the year.
In October, the PS market offered a small drop, and the merchants were under pressure to deliver goods. The operation of giving way to profits was maintained, and the market was still weak. The quotation of mainstream brands excluding tax refers to: Zhenjiang Chimei PG33 reported 11,000 RMB/ ton, Taiwan Taihua 5250 reported 10,290 RMB/ ton, Ningbo Taihua 535N reported 10,300 RMB/ ton, Shanghai SECCO 123P reported 9,600 RMB/ ton, Thailand Petrochemical 150 reported 10,430 RMB/ ton, Guangzhou Petrochemical 525 reported 9,170 RMB/ ton.
At present, styrene is weak, downstream demand performance is poor, there is a lack of buying cooperation, business confidence is insufficient, or continue to yield profits. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in East China market is 9,400-11,200 RMB/ ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is 10,100-11,600 RMB/ ton.
At present, PS market transactions are slowing down, and dealers are mainly wait-and-see. It is expected that the short-term China domestic PS (polystyrene) market is weak.
