Analysis review

This week, the domestic potassium nitrate market was in shock and consolidation. According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the potassium nitrate market declined in the past two months, and the market continued to fall back this week. Recently, the domestic potassium manufacturers started to operate more units than in the early stage, and the inventory in the plant was sufficient. The downstream demand was not good, and maintained just needed purchases. The potassium nitrate shipment was not smooth, and the market was down. According to the statistics of SunSirs, this week the domestic mainstream potassium nitrate manufacturers quoted 6,000-6,500 RMB/ton (the quotation is for reference only), and the quotation varies according to the procurement situation.

Recently, the domestic market price of imported potassium chloride was stable. At present, the sales price of domestic potassium in the market is about 3,550-3,800 RMB/ton (down 50 RMB/ton). The price of 57% of the powder in Qinghai small factories is 3,400-3,600 RMB/ton, and the price of 62% of Russian white potassium in border trade areas is mostly 3,500-3,600 RMB/ton. The price of 62% white potassium at the port is mostly 3,700-4,000 RMB/ton. The price of large particles at the port is mostly 3,750-3,850 RMB/ton, and the price of 60% red powder is 3,750-3,850 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

In the near future, domestic potash fertilizer supply is abundant, and port supplies have successively arrived at the port. The inventory pressure is relatively large. It is expected that the price of potassium nitrate will fall mainly in the short term, and the long-term market still needs to wait and see.
