On the first day after the festival, the domestic EA market rose, with a range of about 100 RMB/ton. The mainstream transaction price in the market was 6,700-7,000 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
A large factory in Shandong raised the base price of EA by nearly 200 RMB/ton. The market in Shandong was significantly boosted, and the trading atmosphere in the market was fair. The price of EA in East China did not change much.
For raw materials, the price of acetic acid rebounded slightly in some areas, and the cost improved. The supply and demand of EA were basically balanced, and the downstream just followed up on demand.
