SunSirs: China Domestic Polysilicon Price increased slightly on August 18

On August 18, the domestic polysilicon price was running at a high level. This week, the price rose slightly, and the domestic single crystal materials increased by 1,000 RMB/ ton. The operating rate of downstream silicon wafer manufacturers remains at the previous level, and the prices of large silicon wafer manufacturers have not been adjusted this week. The operating rate of domestic silicon material manufacturers remains low. Up to now, about 5 large domestic silicon material manufacturers have entered the maintenance period or temporarily stopped, and one of them has partially resumed work. In addition, the expansion of production capacity and stable production have made up for most of the production losses caused by maintenance. In general, the supply of silicon materials remains tight. In terms of terminals, the price of battery cells was temporarily stable, and the previous price increase eased the pressure on enterprise profits to a certain extent. However, terminal components are generally resistant to high prices, and the demand for distributed installed capacity drops slightly, which may suppress the upstream demand in the later stage.
According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the mainstream range of the single crystal compact material with the model of class I solar energy is 295,000-308,000 RMB/ ton.
