SunSirs: The Vitamin C Market Rose Slightly This Week (June 7-11)

June 15 2021 13:39:01     SunSirs (John)

Price trend

According to data from SunSirs’ bulk list, the domestic vitamin C price rose this week, starting from 50 RMB/kg at the beginning of the week to 50.33 RMB/kg at the weekend, an increase of 0.66%.

Analysis review

According to the price chart of SunSirs, vitamin prices rose slightly this week, but the downstream did not buy it. The market transaction atmosphere was general. Manufacturers mainly completed old customer orders, and most of them stopped quoting and did not accept new orders. Traders had stable prices and there was no significant increase in downstream consumption. In the summer, the temperature rises, and the factory starts to plan maintenance.

On the whole, the price of raw materials such as corn and other upstream rose, but the downstream support was insufficient, resulting in a flat performance in the vitamin C market this week and insufficient upward momentum.

Market outlook

The vitamin C analyst of SunSirs believes that: on the whole, the overall supply of vitamin C is still greater than the demand, and sufficient production capacity has made it difficult for the domestic VC market to increase prices. It is expected that the vitamin C market will operate steadily in the near future.
