January 19 2021 13:32:46     SunSirs (John)

Price trend

As can be seen from the above chart, the comprehensive price of potassium chloride rose slightly this week. The average price of the mainstream comprehensive quotation of potassium chloride this week increased from 2,160.00 RMB/ton at the beginning of the week to 2,175.00 RMB/ton at the weekend, an increase of 0.69%. Overall, the potassium chloride market rose this week, and the potassium chloride commodity index on January 15 was 69.05.

Analysis review

The quotations of mainstream manufacturers of potassium chloride increased this week: the weekend ex-factory quotation of potassium chloride in Qinghai Salt Lake was 2,050 RMB/ton, compared with the beginning of the week, the quotation increased by 30 RMB/ton; the weekend distribution quotation of Anhui Badou potassium chloride was 2,300 RMB/ton, compared with the beginning of the week, the quotation was temporarily stable. The actual transaction in the potassium chloride market this week was not good. On the whole, the main contradiction in the market was oversupply, the trading atmosphere was deserted, downstream procurement was mainly demanded, the overall inventory was low, the purchasing market momentum was low, and the domestic potassium chloride market maintained stability.

Market outlook

In late January, the overall trend of the potassium chloride market may fluctuate slightly. The potassium chloride market is currently facing the oppression of three mountains, that is, large port stocks, weak demand and decline in international prices. Therefore, the main contradiction in the current market is that supply exceeds demand. The potassium chloride analyst of SunSirs believes that the short-term potassium chloride market is under the influence of supply and demand and raw materials, and the potassium chloride market may consolidate at a high level.
