January 15 2021 13:10:58     SunSirs (John)

Price trend

According to the monitoring of the bulk data of SunSirs, the current domestic dichloromethane market continues to rise. As of January 14, the average price in Shandong was around 3,650 RMB/ton, an increase of 10.61% from the beginning of the week and an increase of 4.29% from the beginning of the month.

Analysis review

At present, the domestic dichloromethane market is firmly up, and the overall business operation is maintained at about 70%. Some companies implement export orders and self-use. Therefore, the overall market inventory is not pressured. In addition, the downstream market is stocking in advance. The market trading performance is still good, and the dichloromethane price continues to go higher. As of the 14th, the price of dichloromethane in Shandong was around 3,550-3,650 RMB/ton, in East China was around 3,700 RMB/ton, and Jiangxi Lee & Man was around 3,750 RMB/ton.

The market performance of the raw material methanol is average, and prices in the mainland and ports have fallen. Due to the shrinking olefin purchases in the northwest region and the weak demand in Hebei and Shandong, the mainland has generally declined. The blockade of some road sections affects the flow of goods in parts of Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, and Shanxi, but the extent of the impact is currently uncertain, currently about 2,370 RMB/ton; the liquid chlorine market is steadily declining, delivery capacity is declining, enterprise shipments are slowing, and Hebei epidemic is rebounding , The market demand is not good, the current mainstream quotation in the industry is around 500-600 RMB/ton.

The downstream refrigerant market is still strong, with strong cost support. It is expected to rise but hardly fall in the short term. More attention needs to be paid to market news and guidance; Industries such as solvents, pharmaceuticals, and pesticides are starting flat, and support for dichloromethane is average.

Market outlook

The methane chloride data analyst of SunSirs believes that the overall pressure on the dichloromethane market is not large at present, and companies have good intentions to support prices. Demand in some areas is flat. As the price of dichloromethane rises to high levels, the industry is cautious in purchasing. The price of dichloromethane has been operating stably during the period, and there is still downside space in the market outlook.
