On September 8, natural rubber market prices in the Qingdao region continued to climb. With Shanghai rubber futures surging, spot market traders raised their offers by 300–400 RMB/tonne. Prevailing quotes were 18,700–18,950 RMB/tonne for 2024-production Yunbao/Guangkeng/Haibao rubber and 18,800–19,050 RMB/tonne for the 2025-production versions of the same brands; Vietnam 3L was quoted at 19,300–19,500 RMB/tonne; and 2026-production Hongmanli RSS3 was quoted at 24,100–24,300 RMB/tonne.
In the spot market, Qingdao-based traders raised offers by 300–400 RMB/tonne, with prices rising across the board for domestic rubber, Vietnam 3L, RSS3, and other grades amidst robust trading activity. On the futures front, the sharp rise in Shanghai rubber prices provided strong support for spot prices; the alignment of sentiment between the futures market and the spot market created a favorable environment for natural rubber price trends.
