The annual gross industrial output value of China grain enterprises has exceeded 4 trillion RMB. According to the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, there are 24,000 grain enterprises nationwide; over one-third of the provinces have an output value exceeding 100 billion RMB, and 33 provincial-level as well as 117 city- and county-level regional public brands have been established.
The data indicates significant success in scaling up and building brands within the domestic grain industry. The sector shows a robust overall growth outlook and strong demand at the processing stage, factors that generally exert upward pressure on grain prices.
