Rare earth market analysis:

Prices for mainstream rare earth products fluctuated within a narrow range today. The average price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide stood at 716,400 RMB/ton (down 3,000 RMB/ton), while praseodymium-neodymium metal averaged 870,500 RMB/ton (down 1,700 RMB/ton). Dysprosium oxide averaged 1,401,500 RMB/ton (up 19,000 RMB/ton), and terbium oxide averaged 6,625,400 RMB/ton (up 2,700 RMB/ton). Transaction data for products such as praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, lutetium oxide, europium oxide, and lanthanum-cerium oxide was limited today; please treat these figures with caution.

Compared to yesterday, market activity for medium and heavy rare earths has cooled slightly; while dysprosium oxide prices remain firm, trading for other products has stabilized. However, low-priced supply remains tight, leading to slight price increases. Following an offline industry conference in Baotou, inter-company visits and exchanges have increased, fostering a generally positive market sentiment; some holders have tentatively raised their quotes, and orders have picked up, though transactions remain driven primarily by essential restocking needs. Overall, market participants largely maintain a wait-and-see attitude, and market momentum remains subdued; prices are expected to fluctuate within a narrow range in the near term.
