SunSirs: Analysis of the Impact of the USDA’s August Report on Rapeseed Meal Supply and Demand

The USDA's August oilseeds report indicates that global rapeseed meal production for the 2026/27 marketing year is projected at 53.684 million metric tons, an increase of 1.746 million tons year-over-year, while ending stocks are forecast at 1.76 million tons, up 142,000 tons from the previous year.
With global rapeseed meal production and ending stocks for 2026/27 projected to rise by 1.746 million tons and 142,000 tons respectively, the overall supply outlook is ample; this exerts a moderately bearish influence on rapeseed meal prices.
