Data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics on August 3 shows that prices for ferrous metals across the board declined in late July 2026. Specific price changes are as follows: the price of rebar (Φ20mm, HRB400E) stood at 3,123.4 RMB/ton, down 26.4 RMB/ton from the previous period; the price of wire rod (Φ8-10mm, HPB300) was 3,293.2 RMB/ton, down 21.8 RMB/ton; and the price of seamless steel pipe (219*6, 20#) was 4,044.1 RMB/ton, down 1.5 RMB/ton.
