SunSirs: China Commodity Data Daily Highlights (July 10, 2026)

On July 9, the Commodity Price Index (BPI) stood at 1,028 points, up 2 points from the previous day. This figure represents a 23.45% decline from the cycle high of 1,343 points (recorded on October 19, 2021) and a 55.76% increase from the cycle low of 660 points (recorded on February 3, 2016).
According to price monitoring by SunSirs, 83 commodities saw price increases on July 9, 2026, with the gains concentrated in the chemicals sector (44 items) and the rubber & plastics sector (11 items); commodities with gains exceeding 5% were primarily in the chemicals sector. The top three gainers were n-Butanol (industrial grade) (5.99%), Acetone (5.42%), and Brent crude oil (5.20%). Meanwhile, 59 commodities saw price declines, concentrated in the chemicals sector (27 items) and the non-ferrous metals sector (12 items); the top three decliners were Lithium Carbonate (battery grade) (-4.29%), Lithium Hydroxide (industrial grade) (-4.23%), and Lithium Hydroxide (battery grade) (-3.90%).
