The market price of isopropanol (IPA) fell last week. Prices for the feedstock acetone continued to decline, resulting in weak cost support. Major plants in the Shandong region suspended quoting, while plants in Jiangsu and Zhejiang lowered their offer prices. Overall, the IPA market trended downward; market sentiment was poor, and holders showed an increased willingness to sell, though actual deal-making remained cautious and trading activity was lackluster. As of the 18th, most market quotes for IPA were around 6,800-6,900 RMB/ton in Shandong and 6,800-7,000 RMB/ton in Jiangsu.
