Rare earth market analysis:
Prices for mainstream rare earth products saw minor adjustments today. The average price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide fell by 0.16 ten thousand RMB/ton to 69.27 ten thousand RMB/ton, while praseodymium-neodymium metal dropped by 0.32 ten thousand RMB/ton to 83.83 ten thousand RMB/ton. Dysprosium oxide fell by 0.06 ten thousand RMB/ton to 133.15 ten thousand RMB/ton, whereas terbium oxide rose by 1.23 ten thousand RMB/ton to 616.67 ten thousand RMB/ton. Transaction data for products such as praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, europium oxide, lanthanum-cerium oxide, and neodymium metal was limited today; please treat these figures with caution.
Inquiries in the rare earth market have increased slightly compared to yesterday, though price trends for actual transactions are divergent. Regarding praseodymium-neodymium (Pr-Nd) products, inquiries are largely focused on lower-priced supplies, with both quoted and transaction prices for Pr-Nd oxide and Pr-Nd metal showing significant declines; meanwhile, trading activity in the medium-to-heavy rare earth market remains relatively subdued, with prices holding steady. Overall, the rare earth market is undergoing structural adjustments; Pr-Nd prices are under downward pressure, and transactions are driven primarily by essential demand. It is anticipated that Pr-Nd prices will continue to face downward pressure in the short term, while medium-to-heavy rare earth prices are expected to remain stable.
