SunSirs: Russia’s Diesel Exports Fall Month-on-Month and Year-on-Year in May

Market sources and shipping data indicate that Russia’s seaborne exports of diesel and gasoil in May fell by 3% month-on-month to approximately 3.03 million tonnes, marking an 18% decline from the 3.70 million tonnes recorded during the same period last year.
As a major global diesel exporter, Russia’s 3% month-on-month and 18% year-on-year drop in seaborne diesel and gasoil exports has tightened global supply, providing bullish support for diesel spot prices.
