SunSirs: Statistics on China's Exports of Trichloroethylene and Tetrachloroethylene (January–March)

According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, in March 2026, China exported 4,000 tons of trichloroethylene—a month-on-month increase of 69.0% and a year-on-year increase of 25.0%. For the period from January to March, China's cumulative trichloroethylene exports totaled 11,000 tons, representing a year-on-year increase of 47.6%. In March 2026, China exported 2,000 tons of tetrachloroethylene—a month-on-month decrease of 68.7% and a year-on-year decrease of 42.8%. From January to March, China's cumulative tetrachloroethylene exports reached 15,000 tons, an increase of 108.3% compared to the same period last year.
An analysis of export destinations reveals that from January to March of this year, China's trichloroethylene was primarily shipped to India, Russia, Turkey, the United States, and Japan, accounting for 21.5%, 11.8%, 10.4%, 9.7%, and 9.2% of exports, respectively; meanwhile, China's tetrachloroethylene was mainly exported to the UAE, Russia, Turkey, India, and Vietnam, with shares of 68.9%, 4.0%, 3.6%, 2.2%, and 1.9%, respectively.
