Rare earth market analysis:

Today, prices for mainstream rare earth products fluctuated within a narrow range. The average price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide stood at 753,900 RMB/ton, a decrease of 2,900 RMB/ton; the average price of praseodymium-neodymium metal was 919,400 RMB/ton, down 4,700 RMB/ton; the average price of dysprosium oxide was 1,329,400 RMB/ton, down 7,500 RMB/ton; and the average price of terbium oxide was 6,091,400 RMB/ton, down 4,100 RMB/ton. Today, transaction data regarding inquiries for products such as praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, europium oxide, lanthanum-cerium oxide, and neodymium metal were scarce; therefore, please exercise caution when using this information for reference.

Currently, the rare earth market is exhibiting overall stability. Since mid-to-late April, prices for rare earth products have generally trended sideways with a slight downward bias; however, optimistic growth forecasts for future foreign trade have injected a degree of vitality into the market recently. Nevertheless, procurement activity among downstream magnetic material manufacturers remains sluggish, resulting in generally low overall market dynamism. A stark contrast has emerged between the prevailing "wait-and-see" sentiment in the market and the upstream sector's determination to hold up prices; furthermore, traders remain cautious in light of tax regulatory policies, causing market transactions to reach an impasse. Consequently, prices are expected to fluctuate within a narrow range in the short term, and future market developments will require close monitoring of the pace at which downstream orders recover, as well as any adjustments in policy..
