SunSirs: Recent Rise in China PET Spot Prices Boosts Market Sentiment
April 24 2026 10:41:04     SunSirs (Selena)
On April 23, Jiangsu Sanfangxiang quoted PET at 8,760 RMB/ton, while Hainan Yisheng quoted PET at 8,860 RMB/ton; both figures represent an increase compared to the previous trading day.
The upward revision in PET quotes by Jiangsu Sanfangxiang and Hainan Yisheng—relative to the previous trading day—suggests either strengthening market demand or tightening supply conditions, thereby creating a favorable environment for spot prices. While this price hike has directly bolstered market sentiment, the magnitude of the increase is not yet considered substantial; consequently, market participants should closely monitor subsequent shifts in supply and demand dynamics.
