SunSirs: Domestic Ethanol Market Trends in Some Regions on April 15

On April 15, the benchmark price for ethanol, as reported by SunSirs, stood at 5,905.56 RMB/ton—an increase of 0.14% compared to the beginning of the month (5,897.22 RMB/ton).

The ethanol market in the southwest region saw demand-driven purchasing on April 15

The corn ethanol market in the Sichuan region has trended upward, driven by downstream customers making purchases to meet immediate needs; market transaction prices currently range between 5,900 and 6,000 RMB/ton.

There were temporarily no quoted prices in the Yunnan molasses ethanol market, as local production remained sporadic. The region is predominantly supplied by shipments from Guangxi. The price for Guangxi-sourced cassava ethanol ranged from 5,750 to 5,900 RMB/ton, with transportation costs from Guangxi to Yunnan ranging from 350 to 400 RMB/ton.

On April 15, the ethanol market in the Northeast region remained stable and consolidated

In Jinzhou Port, Liaoning, the prevailing ex-warehouse price for standard-grade ethanol stood at 5,600–5,650 RMB/ton, with transactions driven by immediate demand.

Ethanol market prices in Heilongjiang remained temporarily stable at elevated levels. Reference prices for standard-grade ethanol were 5,250–5,400 RMB/ton (tax included) in the eastern region and 5,300–5,450 RMB/ton (tax included) in the western region; the reference price for standard anhydrous ethanol was 5,800–5,900 RMB/ton.
