SunSirs: China PET Prices Rise on April 7

On April 7th, PET prices in Sanfangxiang, Jiangsu were reported at 8,760 RMB/ton, while PET prices in Yisheng, Hainan were reported at 8,990 RMB/ton, an increase from the previous trading day.

The article reported that the spot price of PET in Sanfangxiang, Jiangsu was 8,760 RMB/ton, and the spot price of PET in Yisheng, Hainan was 8,990 RMB/ton, which increased compared to the previous trading day, indicating strong demand or tight supply in the spot market, which is favorable for spot prices. Based on the data of bottle futures (such as the closing price of contract 2605 at 8,498 RMB/ton, up and down +96.00; the closing price of contract 2606 at 8,496 RMB/ton, up and down +130.00), the prices of multiple main contracts have generally increased, and changes in holdings indicate an increase in market activity, further confirming the bullish sentiment in the futures market. Based on the performance of both spot and futures, the upward trend in prices is clear, reflecting a strong positive impact.
