In February 2026, the import volume of cardboard in China was 260,600 tons, a decrease of 184,600 tons or 41.46% compared to the previous month. The total import volume for January and February 2026 was 705,900 tons, a decrease of 150,400 tons or 17.57% compared to the same period last year.
In February 2026, the import volume of cardboard decreased by 41.46% month on month and 17.57% year-on-year from January to February, indicating a significant tightening of the supply side. In the absence of a significant decrease in demand, a reduction in supply will push up spot prices, benefiting the market.
