Analysis and Commentary
Raw Silk
In January and February, the export value of silk fabrics rose by 15.39% year-on-year, while the import value increased by 9.01%. This indicates robust domestic and international demand—with export growth being particularly outstanding—which is expected to directly boost demand in the raw silk spot market. As raw silk serves as a primary material for silk products, its spot prices may rise due to tight supply-demand conditions; while these bullish factors are significant, it remains crucial to monitor the sustainability of future market data.
