CPC Northeast Sales Company lowered the price of styrene butadiene rubber by 1,400 RMB/ton, while Jihua 1502 and Fushun 1502 both reported a price increase of 15,100 RMB/ton for the Northeast warehouse. The significant price reduction this time reflects the oversupply or weak demand in the market. Manufacturers have proactively lowered prices to alleviate inventory pressure, which will pose significant downward pressure on the spot price of styrene butadiene rubber. Based on historical price levels, a decrease of approximately 8.5% is a significant bearish signal that may trigger a chain reaction and lead to an overall weakness in the spot market.
