SunSirs: Ukraine's Sugar Production Increases to 1.72 Million Tons for 2025/26 Crushing Season

According to data released by the Ukrainian Sugar Industry Association, its 26 sugar factories produced a total of 1.64 million tons of white sugar. Adding the production of a sugar factory that is not a member of the association, the total sugar production for the 2025/26 crushing season in Ukraine reached 1.72 million tons.
Ukraine's sugar production during the 2025/26 crushing season reached 1.72 million tons, and the increase in supply may exacerbate the global sugar market oversupply, putting downward pressure on spot prices. Based on futures market data, the main contract for sugar, 2605 (closing price of 5,308 RMB/ton, settlement price of 5,320 RMB/ton, down 3 RMB), shows a recent downward trend in prices. This news may strengthen bearish expectations and further pressure futures prices.
