Price trend
According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the price of aniline continued to rise after the holiday. On February 23, the market price of aniline was 8,845 RMB/ton, and on February 28, the price was 9,145 RMB/ton, an increase of 3.39% during the period, and a decrease of 0.19% compared with the same period last year.
Market analysis
The aniline market continued to strengthen after the holiday, with a large number of domestic and export orders. Supported by strong demand, enterprises sold smoothly and their inventory dropped to a low level. The price of aniline broke through 9,000 RMB/ton during the week.
On the cost side: Benzene prices closely followed crude oil fluctuations, downstream buyers purchased on demand and mainly brought on dips, while inventories at major ports in East China continued to rise, which overall still restrained spot prices and limited the extent of price increases.
Market outlook
The current aniline market was experiencing a positive trading atmosphere. With major manufacturers scheduled for maintenance in March, the aniline market is expected to remain at a high level in the short term, supported by supply.
