Market Analysis
The ammonium biphosphate (MAP) market saw slight consolidation this week. Downstream demand remained weak, with most transactions focused on fulfilling pending orders. As of February 13th, the market price for 55% MAP powder was approximately 3,840-3,900 RMB/ton in Hubei province, 3,900-3,950 RMB/ton in Henan province, and 3,750-3,850 RMB/ton in Sichuan province.
Regarding raw material sulfur: The sulfur market remained stable before the holiday, but market activity weakened, trading volume decreased, and downstream demand was mainly focused on restocking for immediate needs. As of February 13th, the reference price for sulfur in Shandong was around 3,833 RMB/ton.
