February 06 2026 10:53:37     SunSirs (Selena)
On February 5th, the CCI index of thermal coal was 5,500 kcal, 697 RMB/ton (+1); 5,000 kcal, 615 RMB/ton (+1); 4500 kcal, 527 RMB/ton (+1).
The CCI index of thermal coal shows that the prices of 5,500 kcal, 5,000 kcal, and 4,500 kcal have all increased by 1 RMB/ton, indicating a tightening of market supply or increased demand, which is favorable for spot prices. Although the increase is small, it covers all calorific value levels, reflecting a positive overall market sentiment, which may be due to winter heating demand or production recovery. Based on the trend of the spot market, this change supports a moderate upward trend in prices, but it has not reached a significant positive level.
