SunSirs: Supported by Positive Factors, the Price of Adipic Acid Continued to Rise

According to SunSirs' commodity market analysis system, in early February, the price of adipic acid mainly showed an upward trend, continuously rising. At the beginning of the month, the average market price of adipic acid was 8,066 RMB/ton, and on February 5th, the average market price of adipic acid was 8,333 RMB/ton, representing a price increase of 3.31%.

Supported by positive factors, the price of adipic acid continued to rise.

In early February, crude oil prices surged, and the prices of adipic acid raw materials, benzene and cyclohexanone, remained high. With the Chinese New Year approaching, demand from the nylon industry for stockpiling boosted the market. Manufacturers held a strong bullish sentiment, leading to a continuous rise in adipic acid prices, increased market transactions, and a steady upward trend, with a five-day increase exceeding 3%. As of February 5th, the average price of adipic acid in the domestic market was around 8,333 RMB/ton, an increase of 300 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

According to analysts at SunSirs (a Chinese commodity data provider), after the holidays, the purchasing demand from end-users has decreased, and the adipic acid market may experience a sharp decline in the near future, lacking sufficient momentum for continued price increases.
