As of January 31st, Yunnan Province has sold a total of 532,000 tons of new sugar, with a sugar sales rate of 54.06%, which is basically the same as the same period in the previous crushing season (54.03%). The industrial inventory is 452,100 tons, and the monthly sales of sugar in January were 250,600 tons, higher than the 185,100 tons in the same period in the previous crushing season.
As of January 31st during the 2025/26 crushing season, Guangxi has cumulatively harvested 33.4306 million tons of sugarcane, a year-on-year decrease of 3.0971 million tons; Accumulated production of mixed sugar was 4.029 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 788,000 tons; The sugar production rate was 12.05%, a year-on-year decrease of 1.14%.
