Weakness in Core Downstream Sectors: Cyclohexane is primarily used in the production of caprolactam (accounting for approximately 60% of demand) and cyclohexanone, which are further used in the manufacture of nylon 6, nylon 66, etc. However, in 2025, the operating rates of downstream synthetic fiber and engineering plastics industries were insufficient, and purchasing intentions were weak, leading to sluggish demand growth and inventory pressure.
