SunSirs: Ethanol Market Prices in Some Regions of China on January 22nd

On January 22nd, the benchmark price of ethanol, according to SunSirs, was 5,344.45 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.41% compared to the beginning of the month (5,421.11 RMB/ton).

On January 22nd, ethanol prices in the Shandong region remained stable, with limited sales volume. Cassava-based standard grade ethanol was priced at 5,350 RMB/ton, anhydrous cassava-based ethanol at 5,900-5,950 RMB/ton, wheat-based standard grade ethanol at 5,300-5,400 RMB/ton, and wheat-based premium grade ethanol at 5,300-5,400 RMB/ton. Prices for extra-premium grade ethanol were higher.

The ethanol market in Anhui province remained stable, with factory prices holding steady.  Transactions were driven by essential demand, and orders were being shipped. The reference price for standard-grade ethanol was 5,350 RMB/ton, and the reference price for anhydrous ethanol was 5,900 RMB/ton..

Ethanol prices in the Henan region remained stable. Due to snowy weather, there were fewer trucks at the factory gates. The reference price for premium ethanol was 5,300 RMB/ton, and the reference price for anhydrous ethanol was 5,900-,5950 RMB/ton.

The ethanol market in Hebei province was experiencing fluctuations and consolidation. The transaction price for standard-grade corn ethanol was approximately 5,150 RMB/ton; the ex-factory price for anhydrous ethanol was approximately 5,600 RMB/ton.
