According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average market price of rapeseed meal on January 9th was 2,480 RMB/ton, and on January 15th it was 2,432 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.94%.
Loose supply expectations: The expected easing of trade relations between China and Canada is heating up, and the market expects an increase in the import volume of Canadian rapeseed in the long term. At the same time, the arrival volume of Australian rapeseed at the port is increasing, easing the short-term supply shortage situation.
Demand suppression during the off-season: January and February are the off-season for aquaculture, and demand for rapeseed meal is weak. At the same time, the substitution effect of soybean meal is obvious, and the price difference between soybean meal and rapeseed meal is at a low level. The cost-effectiveness advantage of soybean meal squeezes the market space for rapeseed meal.
In the short term, the rapeseed meal market still faces pressure from low demand and loose supply expectations, with prices mainly fluctuating.
