SunSirs: OPEC: Global Daily Oil Demand to Increase Year-on-Year in 2026 and 2027

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) released its monthly oil market report on the 14th, maintaining its previous forecast for global oil demand growth in 2026 and publishing its oil demand forecast for 2027 for the first time.
The report forecasts that global daily oil demand in 2026 will increase by 1.38 million barrels compared to 2025, reaching 106.52 million barrels; and global daily oil demand in 2027 will increase by 1.34 million barrels compared to 2026, reaching 107.86 million barrels.
The report states that 1.24 million barrels of the increase in global daily oil demand in 2027 will come from non-OECD countries.
The report shows that global daily oil demand in 2025 remains at 105.14 million barrels, the same as the forecast in the previous month's report.
