SunSirs: China's LNG imports totaled approximately 1.88 million tons during the week of January 5-11

Real-time LNG import vessel arrival data released by China's E-Gas System indicates that during the week of January 5-11, China imported an estimated 29 LNG vessels through coastal receiving terminals, totaling approximately 1.88 million tons. This compares to the previous week's figure of 980,000 tons.
By importing country, China sourced LNG from nine nations during the week of January 5-11. Australia supplied 10 vessels totaling approximately 610,000 metric tons, accounting for about 33% of the week's total imports.
By destination, the South China region unloaded 11 LNG vessels, the Yangtze River Delta region unloaded 10 vessels, and the Bohai Rim region unloaded 8 vessels during the week of January 5-11. Among these, the Shanghai Yangshan LNG Terminal received 5 vessels totaling approximately 270,000 tons, the highest volume.
According to E-Gas system LNG vessel schedule forecasts, China is expected to import 22 LNG vessels through coastal receiving terminals during the week of January 12-18, with an estimated import volume of approximately 1.58 million tons.
