SunSirs: Thailand's Natural Rubber Raw Materials Remain Stable and Rising
January 12 2026 14:01:41     SunSirs (Selena)
On January 12th, the natural rubber raw material market in Thailand's production areas remained stable with an upward trend: cigarette chips were reported at 61.30 baht/kg, stable; The glue price is 57.00 baht/kg, an increase of 1.00 baht/kg; The cup adhesive price is 53.50 Thai baht/kg, stable.
The price of adhesive in Thai production areas has increased by 1 baht/kg to 57.00 baht/kg, indicating an increase in raw material costs. This may be due to tight supply or increased demand, which is favorable for spot prices. Based on the closing price of natural rubber futures contract 2605 at 16,030 RMB/ton on January 9th (which has recently fallen), cost support may suppress the downward trend, and it is expected that futures prices will rebound slightly. The overall market is optimistic.
