SunSirs: International Crude Oil Prices Drop, the Refined Oil Prices Decrease in Northwest China
January 06 2026 14:08:32     SunSirs (Selena)
On Friday, the international crude oil market closed slightly lower. On January 5th, the price of refined oil in the northwest region decreased. The overall price of 92# gasoline was 7,300-7,400 RMB/ton, the price range of 95# gasoline was 7,400-7,500 RMB/ton, and the price range of diesel was 6,200-6,300 RMB/ton.
The slight decrease in international crude oil prices has led to a diesel price range in the northwest region dropping to 6,200-6,300 RMB/ton, reflecting weak demand and supply pressure, which has a general negative impact on spot prices and may suppress short-term market purchasing enthusiasm.
Affected by the decline in crude oil prices, the overall prices of 92# and 95# gasoline in Northwest China have fallen to 7,300-7,400 RMB/ton and 7,400-7,500 RMB/ton, respectively. The loose supply and insufficient demand in the spot market have negatively impacted gasoline prices, and it is expected that prices will come under pressure in the short term.
