This data also exceeded market expectations. So far this year, the total export sales of soybean meal have increased by 10% year-on-year, while the US Department of Agriculture predicts a 5% increase in exports for the whole year.
The export sales volume of soybean meal in the United States has significantly increased to 616,453 tons, far exceeding last week's 275,487 tons and market expectations. The total export volume for this year has increased by 10% year-on-year, higher than the USDA's forecast of 5%, indicating strong demand and may push up the spot price of soybean meal. Based on recent futures data, such as the closing price of the main contract 2605 at 2,745 RMB/ton (slightly up), this positive data may support the upward trend of futures prices, as export growth strengthens expectations of tight supply.
