SunSirs: China's Coal Exports Rise 25.5% Year-on-Year in November

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, China imported 33.322 million tons of thermal coal (non-coking coal) in November 2025, marking a 21.9% year-on-year decline but a 7.0% month-on-month increase.

From January to November 2025, China's cumulative thermal coal imports totaled 327.0377 million tons, down 13.7% year-on-year.

In November 2025, China imported 10.731 million tons of coking coal, a month-on-month increase of 1.3% but a year-on-year decrease of 12.7%.

From January to November 2025, China's cumulative imports of coking coal reached 104.856 million tons, down 6.0% year-on-year.

In November 2025, China exported 440,000 tons of coal, marking a 25.5% year-on-year increase and a 22.22% month-on-month rise.

From January to November 2025, China's cumulative coal exports reached 6.17 million tons, reflecting a 2.2% year-on-year growth.
