On December 23, the commodity price index BPI was 888 points, up 2 points from yesterday, down 33.88% from the highest point of the cycle at 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and up 34.55% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on December 23, 2025, there were a total of 67 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (27 in total) and the non-ferrous sector (10 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) (4.37%), N-methyldiethanolamine (3.85%), and petroleum coke (3.79%). There were a total of 51 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (27 in total) and rubber and plastic (5 in total). The top 3 products with the highest decline were coke (-3.59%), calcium carbide (-2.29%), and thermal coal (-2.28%).
