SunSirs: China's Antimony Product Import and Export Data for January-November 2025

On December 20, 2025, the General Administration of Customs released import and export data for antimony products covering January-November 2025.

I. Antimony Ore and Concentrate Imports Declined by 36.9% Year-on-Year in January-November

Customs statistics indicate that China imported 3,642.9 tons of antimony ore and concentrates in November 2025, marking a 15.6% month-on-month increase but a 36.9% year-on-year decrease. Cumulative imports from January to November reached 32,655.5 tons, down 33.4% year-on-year.

By country, imports of antimony ore and concentrates from January to November primarily originated from Russia, Peru, Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, and other regions. Imports included: Myanmar: 6,404.4 tons, down 21.6% year-on-year; Kyrgyzstan: 2,213.8 tons, down 21.0% year-on-year; Thailand: 2,058.3 tons, down 85.6% year-on-year.

II. China's Major Antimony Product Exports Remained Weak in November

Customs statistics indicate that China's antimony oxide exports totaled 302.0 tons in November 2025, marking a 67.8% month-on-month increase but a 61.1% year-on-year decline. Cumulative exports from January to November reached 5,515.8 tons, down 80.9% year-on-year.

By destination, exports from January to November were primarily shipped to Thailand, Mexico, Canada, Vietnam, and Russia: Canada 648.0 tons, a year-on-year increase of 35.0%; Russia 507.0 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 36.3%.

Regarding unprocessed antimony exports, China exported 40.0 tons of unprocessed antimony in November 2025, a month-on-month increase of 100.0%. No unprocessed antimony was exported during the same period in 2024. From January to November, exports of unwrought antimony totaled 367.0 tons, down 90.4% year-on-year.

By destination, China exported 180.0 tons of unwrought antimony to South Korea from January to November 2025, down 71.0% year-on-year; 100.0 tons to Japan, down 87.7% year-on-year; 62.0 tons to Thailand (no exports to Thailand during the same period last year); and 25.0 tons to Belgium, down 92.4% year-on-year.
