SunSirs: China Domestic Corn Starch Prices Have Slightly Fallen

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of domestic corn starch slightly fell last week. The average price of edible first grade corn starch at the beginning of the week was 2,836.00 RMB/ton, and the average price over the weekend was 2,820.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.56% during the week.
Starting from mid December, the overall price increase of domestic corn market stabilized and then slightly fell back. Upstream raw material prices stabilized and fell back. In addition, the supply of corn starch market was relatively loose, and manufacturers slightly lowered the factory price to promote shipment, which led to a slight decrease in domestic corn starch prices.
The corn starch product analyst of SunSirs believes that the domestic corn market supply is relatively loose, the starch industry inventory is still high, and downstream demand continues to be sluggish. In the short term, the domestic corn starch market price will be mainly under pressure and weak operation.
