SunSirs: Goldman Sachs: Oil Prices to Rise in Q4 2026
December 19 2025 14:11:23     SunSirs (Selena)
On Thursday, December 18, Goldman Sachs projected that oil prices will rise in the fourth quarter of 2026, as the market begins to factor in the impact of a return to supply shortages in the oil market in the second half of 2027 and focuses on incentivizing long-cycle production.
Goldman Sachs forecasts that Brent/WTI crude oil prices will gradually recover to $80/$76 per barrel respectively by the end of 2028.
Goldman Sachs forecasts TTF natural gas prices of €29/€20 per megawatt-hour (approximately $10/$6.85 per million British thermal units) for 2026/2027.
Goldman Sachs expects US natural gas prices to reach $4.60 and $3.80 per million British thermal units in 2026 and 2027, respectively, sufficient to incentivize growth in US natural gas production.
