On December 18th, the benchmark price of maleic anhydride according to SunSirs was 5,187.50 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.43% compared to the beginning of the month (5,262.50 RMB/ton).
On December 18th, the maleic anhydride market in Jiangsu province showed weak and stable trends. The ex-factory price of solid maleic anhydride was around 4,850 RMB/ton, and the ex-factory price of liquid maleic anhydride was also around 4,850 RMB/ton. Auction prices in East China declined, and the surrounding liquid maleic anhydride market also weakly consolidated.
On December 18th, the maleic anhydride market in Shandong province showed a weak and consolidating trend. The ex-factory price of solid maleic anhydride was around 4,850 RMB/ton, while the ex-factory price of liquid maleic anhydride was around 4,500 RMB/ton. The auction in Yantai did not result in full transactions, and prices declined slightly. Factories limited their shipments, and market participants remained cautious, mainly adopting a wait-and-see approach.
