According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in November, raw coal production from large-scale industrial enterprises remained stable, crude oil production accelerated, natural gas production grew steadily, and electricity generation continued to increase.
Raw coal production remained stable. In November, raw coal output from above-scale industrial enterprises reached 430 million tons, down 0.5% year-on-year, with an average daily output of 14.23 million tons.
From January to November, raw coal production from above-scale industrial enterprises totaled 4.4 billion tons, up 1.4% year-on-year.
Crude oil production growth accelerated. In November, crude oil output from above-scale industrial enterprises reached 17.63 million tons, up 2.2% year-on-year, with the growth rate accelerating by 0.9 percentage points compared to October. The daily output averaged 588,000 tons.
From January to November, crude oil production from above-scale industrial enterprises totaled 198.25 million tons, up 1.7% year-on-year.
Crude oil processing maintained steady growth. In November, crude oil processing by large-scale industrial enterprises reached 60.83 million tons, up 3.9% year-on-year, with an average daily processing volume of 2.028 million tons.
From January to November, crude oil processing by large-scale industrial enterprises totaled 675.07 million tons, up 4.0% year-on-year.
Natural gas production maintained steady growth. In November, natural gas output by large-scale industrial enterprises reached 21.9 billion cubic meters, up 5.7% year-on-year, with an average daily output of 730 million cubic meters.
From January to November, natural gas production by industrial enterprises above designated size reached 238.9 billion cubic meters, up 6.3% year-on-year.
Electricity production by industrial enterprises above designated size maintained growth. In November, electricity generation reached 779.2 billion kilowatt-hours, up 2.7% year-on-year, with a daily average of 25.97 billion kilowatt-hours. From January to November, industrial electricity generation by enterprises above designated size reached 8,856.7 billion kWh, up 2.4% year-on-year.
By type, in November, thermal power generation by enterprises above designated size shifted from growth to decline, while hydropower grew at a relatively fast pace. Nuclear power and solar power generation accelerated their growth rates, and wind power shifted from decline to growth. Specifically: Industrial hydropower generation grew by 17.1%, slowing by 11.1 percentage points compared to October; Industrial nuclear power generation increased by 4.7%, accelerating by 0.5 percentage points compared to October; Industrial wind power generation surged by 22.0%, reversing a 11.9% decline in October; Industrial solar power generation rose by 23.4%, accelerating by 17.5 percentage points compared to October.
