On December 15th, the commodity price index BPI was 885 points, a decrease of 4 points from yesterday, a decrease of 34.10% from the highest point of the cycle at 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 34.09% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on December 15, 2025, there were a total of 44 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (27 in total) and the rubber and plastic sector (4 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were sulfonyl chloride (3.75%), aniline (3.52%), and dichloromethane (2.73%). There are a total of 73 products that have experienced a month on month decline, mainly concentrated in the chemical industry (24 in total) and rubber and plastic (9 in total). Products with a decline of more than 5% are mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector; The top three products with a decline were sulfur (-5.56%), hydroxylamine hydrochloride (-4.21%), and petroleum coke (-4.05%).
